The letters are delivered by regular mail (‘snail mail’) every month.

You can pick the mailing date for your first letter using the calendar above the "Add to Cart" button. Otherwise, it will automatically be mailed 3 business days after your order. The estimated arrival time is about 2-7 days after the mailing date chosen.

After your first letter, all following letters will be mailed on the 5th of every month.

The Letters From Oz experience retells the iconic story we all know and love through the eyes of the characters themselves. Each letter is written in a distinct voice, giving you the familiar tale alongside fresh, firsthand perspectives.

The story keeps everything great about L. Frank Baum's original The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and adds new depth by letting you read their actual thoughts and see physical details from their journey.

You’ll experience the universe of Oz from the inside out with beautifully illustrated letters and immersive artifacts: postcards, posters, maps, newspapers, recipes, and more!

Both! The letters are written with real substance, the way a grown-up reader would want them, but in clear language and ideas that children can follow and fall in love with.

Kids aged 8 and up can read them on their own, and younger ones love the colorful illustrations and the keepsakes that come with every letter, especially with a grown-up reading along.

They carry the same heartwarming and encouraging messages the story is loved for, so children grow into them and adults never quite grow out of them. To read these letters, brains are required, a heart is recommended, but courage is optional.

Choose the shipping date for the first letter before adding to cart, enter the recipient’s name and address at checkout, and we’ll deliver it right to them every month.

We’ll also provide a Printable Gift Summary Card that you can easily print or email so you have something to show them right away. This card will introduce them to the experience ahead.
